What Happened
Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams is taking her acclaimed solo project across the Atlantic. Following successful performances across the US and South America—including a landmark slot at the Hollywood Bowl—the singer has officially announced eight new UK and European headline dates for next summer as an extension of "The Hayley Williams Show" tour.
The European leg kicks off on June 7, 2027, in Milan, taking her through Rome, Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, Glasgow, and Cardiff. She is also slated for a massive supporting slot alongside Fontaines D.C. at Ireland's historic Slane Castle on June 26, with all dates conveniently aligning around the Glastonbury 2027 window.
Context: A Long-Awaited Live Debut
While Williams has been a dominant force in alternative rock for two decades, her solo catalog has rarely received the global live treatment. The 2020 release of her solo debut, Petals for Armor, was heavily impacted by pandemic-era touring shutdowns.
Consequently, this expanded international tour serves as the first time overseas audiences will experience her distinct solo material in a dedicated headlining environment. The announcement leverages the massive momentum of her 2025 surprise release, Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, which earned widespread critical praise and landed on major end-of-year lists.
Why It Matters
This tour expansion represents a major shift in Williams’ career trajectory and carries several key implications for the music industry:
- The Glastonbury Connection: The deliberate timing of her UK dates in late June has fueled intense industry speculation regarding a high-profile slot at the Worthy Farm festival.
- Proving Solo Commercial Power: Selling out headline dates in major European markets proves Williams' commercial viability outside of the Paramore brand. Sharing the bill with Fontaines D.C. at Slane Castle—a venue with an 80,000-person capacity—further cements her status as a premier live draw.
- A Diverse Setlist: Fans can expect a comprehensive catalog performance. Williams will draw heavily from all three of her solo records, seamlessly blending the art-pop of Petals for Armor, the acoustic intimacy of Flowers for Vases / Descansos, and the energetic post-punk of Ego Death.
Ticket Information
Headline tickets for the newly announced UK and European dates go on sale on Tuesday, September 8, at 10:00 AM local time. Tickets for the Slane Castle appearance with Fontaines D.C. will become available slightly earlier.
Before heading overseas, Williams will wrap up her remaining North American tour dates through September and early October, featuring support from Magdalena Bay and Rico Nasty.
Future Outlook
This solo run does not signal the end of Paramore. The band, which successfully wrapped up their global This Is Why touring cycle last year, remains on a planned hiatus. This scheduled break allows Williams to fully explore her distinct solo identity and establish her presence as a standalone arena act before the Grammy-winning trio reconvenes for future projects.
