"Kevin and I have been talking for years about maybe joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe," Driver teased, before revealing his villainous role: Nathaniel Milbury.
For comic book historians, that name is a massive red flag. Nathaniel Milbury is a notorious alias for Mister Sinister—one of the X-Men's most ruthless, obsessive, and genetically driven adversaries. Driver’s inclusion guarantees a high-caliber antagonist who will undoubtedly push this young team of mutants to their absolute limits.
Why This Cast Signals a Bold New Era for the MCU
Marvel is playing the long game here. By choosing director Jake Schreier (who is also helming the MCU's upcoming Thunderbolts*), Marvel is leaning into character-driven drama over pure spectacle.
