He praised the New York Knicks for their recent NBA championship—their first franchise title since 1973—before pivoting to the arena's other high-profile events.
"We’re at Madison Square Garden, home of the world champion New York Knicks!" Styles told the roaring crowd. He paused, grinned, and added: "And they also do weddings."

The joke was a direct reference to the ultra-private, star-studded wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce on July 3. The couple shocked fans by quietly tying the knot inside the world's most famous arena.
